What is Iron Men about?
Set in China's oil fields, the film follows enthusiastic young workers pushing forward the nation’s modernization. Liu Sicheng (Liu Ye), a top performer, idolizes oil hero Wang Jinxi (Wu Gang) and is proud of his father, Liu Wenrui (Zhang Duo), who once worked alongside him. Wang’s iconic moment—jumping into cement despite an injury—becomes legendary.
